Tuesday, October 12, 1926. Longest home run.

Babe Ruth asked Ernie Corkran to throw his best fastball at a barnstorming unofficial game at Artillery Park in Kingston, PA.  The ball went 650 feet, the farthest MLB home run hit ever, and over 75 feet longer than the official long run ball hit by Ruth in 1921.

The Condé Diamond, was stolen from a museum in France.
