I have, for example, a New York Yankees modern baseball cap, a Rockies St. Patrick's Day commemorative baseball cap, and a replica wool Cubs cap. And I will wear them. Still, back then I really loved fountain Coke.<br /><br />Probably 20 or so years ago I became so out of the habit of drinking it, I came to experience what you are describing. I hardly ever drink it now.<br /><br />Soda wise, the one exception I have is citrus flavored drinks, although I rarely buy them. I still like them, however. Everybody told me that after a few months I'd be completely healed, but I went through the same things you wrote about after I was "healed". <br /><br />Now, I know that going through a grieving process after a major surgery is relatively common, and that's what happened to me. It's hard to explain to others (even harder since I usually keep my feelings to myself), and I'm not proud of how frustrated and angry I was at the world a couple of summers ago, but figuring out part of the cause helps somewhat. <br /><br />From what I've read, the grieving process can take about a month for every year that you knew someone that you are mourning, which for me meant that I had about 4-5 years for the process to run it's course after my surgery.
