The Austrian clerico-fascist Heimwehr was dissolved and folded into the far right Vaterländische Front which was governing Austria.

The Italian government adopted Mussolini's recommendations for national defense, including increasing the work week from 40 to 60 hours.

The Reich Central Office for the Combating of Homosexuality and Abortion was created in Nazi Germany.


It's odd that these two topics were combined.

Women were allowed to be employed in munitions factories in the UK for the first time since World War One.
