Colorado's Big Thompson River flooded killing 151 people in Larimer County. It was a flash flood in an area in which the geography contributed to the disaster.
You'd think I'd have a clear memory of this, but I don't. I can vaguely recall it happening, but that's about it.

The Plan of Chicago, a long range plan for the city, was unveiled.

It's now missing and nobody knows what happened to it . . .which is odd.
