Sunday, October 3, 1926. First postseason no hitter.

The first post season no hitter was pitched by Red Grier of the Bacharach Giants in Game 3 of the Colored World Series, against the Chicago American Giants.


Grier would die in 1967 at the age of 62.

St. Louis won game two of the World Series.

Fr. Charles Coughlin began his broadcast of his weekly sermons on radio station WJR of Detroit.
