Sunday, January 23, 1916. Villa disavows, Outflanked in the desert, Big temperature drop.

Sunday Magazine & Sunday Telegram, January 23, 1916 by Edward Mason Eggleston.  Eggleston was a period illustrator who specialized in fanciful depictions of women which anticipated the pinup era of the 40s and 50s.

Villa disavowed murders.

Racist trash was premiering in Cheyenne.

The Western Frontier Group attacked Senussi's but were outflanked, allowing the Senussi to escape.

Browning, Montana's, temperature dropped 100 degrees in 24 hours on January 23-24, from 44F to a -56F, maybe.

There's some evidence that this was a bad observation, but the temperature did drop a bunch.
