Points of Argument
I see a fair number of arguments in print, and others set out orally,
that include catch phrases or just blunders that a thinking person ought
to omit. Some are common assertions, others not, and some are
aggravating and irritating. All ought to be omitted, as they're bad
arguments or just plain wrong. Given that we're entering an election
season, and hence the season of debate, I thought I might note a few as
we go along, in a series of threads. They'll start appearing here soon.
