Tuesday, September 5, 1911. Unimaginable flooding on the Yangtze.

Reports emerged from missionaries of flooding on the Yangtze that killed 200,000 people by drowning.  A further 100,000 would die in the resulting famine.

Persian troops defeated rebels at Imamzadeh Ja'far.
