Monday, July 29, 1946. Anping Incident.

Chinese Communists and U.S. Marines engaged in hostilities in Anping, China.  Four Marines and 15 Chinese Communists were killed.

Tensions between the American military mission to China, which had very unclear directives, and the Communist Chinese were increasing.
