I would have thought that this would be front page news.

And I think it should be.

Yesterday, the State of Hawaii sent out this warning, on a warning system its created:
BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL
The warning went out on people's cell phones, sort of like the emergency warning we have here for various things.

Obviously it was an error.  The mere accidental push of a button on a computer.  But it caused panic, as it would.  The "This is not a drill" language had a distinct meaning in Hawaii's history, and Hawaii would get less than 15 minutes warning in the event of a nuclear missile strike by North Korea.

The warning was retracted about 40 minutes in.  But still, this all says a lot.

It ought to be front page news.
