An observation on insults.

It occurred to me today that Winston Churchill, who was a politician both loved and hated in his own day, is now regarded universally as a great man, and he was legendary for his fantastic insults.

And then we have a former President who can't admit that he lost, and the best he can come up with regarding his opponents within his own party is "loser".

There's a place for calling somebody a "loser", but if that's your default comment on your opponent. . . well, it's childish.

A person I once did some work for, back when Donald Trump was President, commented with gushing admiration of him "he talks just like us".

Truly, that's one of the things I'm afraid of.
