Why?

Why does the Wyoming Secretary of State need its own state paid and funded attorney?

Is the AG's office too busy to take care of this?

Does this mean that the Secretary of State, who does stuff that deals with the law, doesn't know the law because, well, he's not a lawyer?

The one chosen has only been practicing law for a year, but is also the nephew of Harriet Hageman.

My prediction is that in Wyoming, that's not going to matter at all.

And why did the Wyoming Supreme Court not take up the abortion ban question, sending it back to the district court?   I know that it said; "This court does not believe it can answer all twelve certified questions on the limited factual record provided", but seriously, it's just interpreting an amendment to the state constitution.
