Best Posts of the Week of February 16, 2025.

The best posts of the week of February 16, 2025, a week in which, although I have not discussed it as of yet, a former KGB agent said that Trump was indeed a Russian asset (we have yet to weigh that) and Pope Francis appeared to be on his final journey, showing how dignified in the process he really was.

May God grant him, should he choose, a peaceful path.

This same week we predicted some things will not end well.

Some Grim Predications

This appears even more likely than it did we we stated it.

Pope Francis, really rising to the occasion of his times:

I recalled  how a song from the 40s, was still in mind in the 60s and 70s, having a minor impact, in the80s:

Donald J. Trump, whose was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, wasting the taxpayers money:

Yesterday's Reading.

Jesus came down with the Twelve and stood on a stretch of level ground with a great crowd of his disciples and a large number of the people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon.

And raising his eyes toward his disciples he said:

“Blessed are you who are poor,

for the kingdom of God is yours.

Blessed are you who are now hungry,

                        for you will be satisfied.

Blessed are you who are now weeping,

                        for you will laugh.

Blessed are you when people hate you,

and when they exclude and insult you,

and denounce your name as evil

on account of the Son of Man.

Rejoice and leap for joy on that day!

Behold, your reward will be great in heaven.

For their ancestors treated the prophets in the same way.

But woe to you who are rich,

for you have received your consolation.

Woe to you who are filled now,

                        for you will be hungry.

Woe to you who laugh now,

for you will grieve and weep.

Woe to you when all speak well of you,

for their ancestors treated the false prophets in this way.”

Not exactly the health and prosperity message, now is it?

A person was booed:

A reminder of when we oppressed other immigrants.

A reminder that somebody needs to take Donny's Classic Comics edition on McKinley away:

A battle of epic proportion starts:

Donald Trump, who was born rich and lack any moral compass, tries to treat a war over existential questions, as if its a moronic inconsequential real estate deal, such as those which have made up hsi pointless existence.

The death of a truly great man:

Warrior ethos, or advancing a coup?

A monumental event in the lives of real people:
