The Storm

 Highs today are predicted, in advance of a big winter storm, to only hit 24F.

That's according to one source.  According to another, that figure is 15F.

In my part of town, they're 31F right now. . .

Well actually not, now its an hour later than when I first typed that, and its 28F and lightly snowing.

Oddly, the Weather Channel claims its 8F right now and that the high will be the aforementioned 15.

Tomorrow, according to the first source mentioned, the low will be -9F. That's cold, but we've hit that several times this year already.  That figure is supposed to arrive with snow. . . which is supposed to arrive today, and in fact somewhat has. The Weather Channel predicts a high tomorrow, however, of -2F and a low of -16F.

Wednesday, according to one source, the high will be -2F, and the low -20F.  But the Weather Channel states it will be 2F and -15F respectively.

Thursday it will be 2 and -12F.  Or 16 and -2.

I guess we'll see.

Well, it's 6F now, at 8:54.

Quite a drop in just a couple of hours.

And then down to -15F, now back up to -12F.

And snowing.
