Monday at the Bar: 19th Century Courts Martial
A 19th Century U.S. Army courts martial. Unlikely that there would have been lawyers actually at it, as a regular JAG Corps was a post World War One creation. Before that, all legal matters were handled by officers and enlisted men detailed to the task.
